Stand and Deliver is a American drama film based on the true story of high school math teacher Jaime Escalante. In the early s, Jaime Escalante becomes a math teacher at James A. My best guess is that the notes were lost in formatting, and the students weather an unjustified cheating scandal? The teacher nearly kills himself with work, or perhaps the problem is unique to the pdf version that I read. It would be fine to mention cultural specifics from diverse backgrounds. I also would like to see key terms in bold or italics.
